DeMbare duo in Super Diski trials

Dynamos striker Emmanuel Paga is reportedly undergoing a trial stint at South Africa’s DStv Premiership side Polokwane City with hope of getting signed during the January transfer window.

The dreadlocked Ghanaian will have his contract with 2023 Chibuku Super Cup winners expire on December 31 amid revelations that DeMbare’s rock solid defender and captain Frank Makarati is also set to get assessed by Moroka Swallows early next month.

Quoting unnamed sources, a South African publication FARPost, reported that four PSL clubs have inquired about the centre-back’s availability and chances are high that he would be heading to Moroka Swallows for his trial stint.

Contacted for a comment Dynamos secretary-general Webster Marechera said: “As for now we have nothing concrete that we can tell you. We have also been reading about it on social media platforms and on online publications. There is nothing I can say further.”

A number of South African teams are reportedly angling to sign a number of Zimbabwean players during the forthcoming January transfer window.

Chicken Inn and Warriors goalkeeper Donovan Bernard is heavily linked with a move to Supersport United who are aiming to bolster their goalkeeper department that interestingly has another Zimbabwean Washington Arubi.

On the other hand, former Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona has been linked with a sensational move to Kaizer Chiefs, a club that previously employed his elder brother, Knowledge.

In Zimbabwe, he has reportedly parted ways with FC Platinum and he is set to join free spending Simba Bhora who will be having their second dance in the country’s elite football league.

The gifted Walter reportedly opted to leave Pure Platinum Play after a fallout with head coach Norman Mapeza.

Simba Bhora are also said to have agreed terms with Bulawayo Chiefs Billy Vheremu and Dynamos midfield dynamo Junior Makunike.

FC Platinum are said to have agreed terms with Highlanders dependable defender Mbongeni “Mbola” Ndlovu.

Last weekend, Bosso revealed that they had managed to tie down towering and lanky defender Andrew “Tower” Mbeba till 2026.

With a number of local clubs that include Dynamos and Ngezi Platinum Stars praying hard to get the signature of combative Peter Muduhwa, Bosso are adamant that they will never release the Warriors defender.

The no-nonsense player is endowed with great combative play, good ball control, visionary play and ability to score crucial goals.

Muduhwa is the Bosso vice-captain who also knows how to frustrate his club’s opponents.
