DEMBARE PICK A POINT AT SAKUBVA

Manica Diamonds……………………………….. (1)  2

Dynamos……………………………………………(0) 2

HOW will Dynamos take this one – is it a big point won away from home or two points dropped on the road?

What isn’t questionable is that this is a vastly-improved Manica Diamonds team.

The home team surged ahead in 26th minute when Russel Kahiki fired home from close range amid a goalmouth melee.

Manica Diamonds fans were unhappy when referee Quesdani Dirwai denied them what looked like a second goal from Charles Teguru’s free-kick.

Dynamos equalised just after the break when Frank Agyemang fired home in the 54th minute.

Moses Demera propelled his team into the lead in the 60th minute when he ghosted in from the blind side to tap home.

Six minutes into time added on Manica Diamonds restored parity when Teguru lurched onto a loose ball and fired home a hard-and-low shot that beat the Dynamos goalkeeper.

Dynamos coach Genesis Mangombe said:

“I think this was an easy match that we could have easily won with a wide margin but my strikers wasted a lot of scoring chances.

“Well, they (Manica Diamonds) managed to equalise late into the match and I am still wondering why the match officials had eight minutes of added time.

“That was just too much,” said Mangombe.

His opposite number Patrick Mandizha bemoaned the missed chances.
