THE Dynamos’ Supporters Gweru Chapter has elected a new executive led by Tafirenyika Mapepa to lead the club’s fans recruitment drive for the next three years. Mapepa will be deputised by Archmore Machekano, with Junior Vengere coming in as secretary-general and Aaron Mazorodze as treasurer. Solomon Sihlokwe is the organising secretary, Ephraim Mutingwende and Letisiwe Muteliso (security), while committee members include Dominic Nyamweda, Chipo Sithole, Susan Bafana, Siphiweyinkosi Buhlungu and Tendai Muzavazi.

Mapepa said: “Our immediate task is to embark on a massive membership recruitment drive so that we become a vibrant chapter. We’re also going to launch an anti-violence campaign by encouraging Dynamos fans not to engage in acts of violence as that costs the team in terms of fines.”
