Mukamba, who has been the playmaker at the Harare giants of late, last featured in the 0-1 defeat to Harare City on 6 June at Rufaro.
The lanky midfielder received a red card towards the end of the match and has since been trying his luck in South Africa.
Yesterday, Mukamba was still conspicuous by his absence as Dynamos stepped up their preparations for the reverse fixture of the Caf Confederation Cup playoff.
Arubi, who kept a clean sheet in the first round, is also confident of playing well in Luanda.
“Denver is not around at the moment but I believe he plays for the team according to the coaches’ instructions.
“So even if he is not available another player will be called. In football usually 30 players are registered to play and whoever is selected should play accordingly,” said Arubi.
Arubi, who is believed to be heading for University of Pretoria, said his focus for now is on the match in Luanda.
“We drew 0-0 with the Angolans at home although we had hoped to get a win. But the two league games we have played after the Caf match have motivated us because we managed to get wins,” said Arubi.
Dynamos beat Quelaton 1-0 with right back David Kutyauripo scoring the solitary goal at Luveve before they thumped clueless Blue Rangers 6-0 at Rufaro.
Arubi shared the same sentiments as assistant coach Tonderai Ndiraya who is hopeful that Dynamos will get goals in Luanda.
“We are going to seek a win in Luanda. I think we are at an advantage now because we avoided conceding any goals here at home. We now have to score goals in Luanda,” said Arubi.
Interclube, Arubi said, took a rather defensive approach in the first leg.
The Dynamos stand-in captain feels that everyone is motivated ahead of their scheduled departure to Luanda tomorrow evening. But the Dynamos camp will be hoping that seasoned midfielder Murape Murape who had just returned to training, recovers.
Murape had been sidelined for the past month due to a pulled muscle and was back at full training this week.
However, Murape failed to last the whole session after he picked up a knock yesterday.
Meanwhile, Interclube were last night expected to play rivals Recreativo da Caála at Luanda’s 22 de Junho Stadium, in the 17th round of the national first division football championship (Girabola 2012).
Initially the match was scheduled for Saturday but was brought forward due to Interclube’s involvement in the Caf competition.
