The Deputy Minister of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services has taken significant steps to bridge the digital divide in Mangwe District by donating ICT gadgets to local schools, enhancing access to technology and digital learning resources in the area.

Sourced under the Ministry, two schools, namely Msasane and Matole Primary received ICT gadgets each in the form of five laptops, one printer, one whiteboard and one Starlink router.

The donations come hot on the heels of the Mangwe Ward 12 council by-election slated for tomorrow.

Deputy Minister Phuti said his Ministry is right on track in following President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s philosophy of “leaving no one and no place behind”.

“President Mnangagwa has the people at heart and as his soldiers we are working full throttle to push for the upliftment of our societies.

“This donation speaks true to our commitment to push development in the technological space. As Zanu PF, l assure you that this is just the start of great things as we mould our future generation,” said Deputy Minister Phuti.
