ZIMBABWEAN international Devine Lunga put in another five star performance for Mamelodi Sundowns when the club booked a CAF Champions League quarter-final berth thanks to their Group A 2-0 win over Mauritania’s Nouadhibou over the weekend.

Lunga, who had previously had little game time as the club was waiting for him to secure his South African permanent residence and register him as a local, played the entire 90 minutes in the left side of defence.

About a fortnight ago, on his first start for Sundowns against Orlando Pirates, Lunga had a breathtaking show and he was voted man of the match in a game that ended one all.

Lunga, was bred in Mpopoma and he was once in the books of Ajax Hotspurs and Chicken Inn.

His manager Mike Makaab and Thulani Mokwena have constantly been praising the player for his top of the drawer displays. – @FungaiMuderere
