adminGOSPEL singer Deborah Fraser had a health scare last week related to diabetes. But the star has told her fans there is nothing to worry about. The singer who was admitted to a hospital in Johannesburg after she complained of breathing problems told Daily Sun that despite her ongoing problems with diabetes and spending a week in hospital, she knew God protected her and was recovering well at home.
“Thank you for your concern but honestly, I’m alright. I’m already in the studio working on a new album,” Fraser said.
While she was speaking to the SunTeam, the Uma Kungenxa singer sounded happy and optimistic about life.
“People must not worry about me because God is looking out for me. I’m working on music I know a lot of people will be excited about. I’ve written a number of new songs,” she said.
“I’ve been working with my producer, Sipho Mbhele. People know I always write music that makes sense and will touch their lives. This album is going to be a beautiful one.”
The singer said her mother, Catherine, died in 2009 because of diabetes. However, Deborah said the condition had made her a stronger woman and would never get the better of her.
This is not the first time Deborah has had a health scare. Two years ago she collapsed at her home and spent two weeks in hospital. — DailySun
