Diary of Mrs30

FRIDAY
Freedom at last kikiki! No, I do not really mean it Diary. Actually I would say that if the kids were gone. I am saying now only because it is hard when my husband is here for me to do the things I need to do without him telling me I am wasting money on unnecessary things. I think he forgets that all the favourite things he eats and drinks all come from the wasteful spending I do.

SATURDAY
Oh my word, our neighbours’ child died last night, how sad. The child was barely 10-years-old. They said he had a headache, went to sleep and never woke up, eish! The weird thing though Diary is that this child is one of the children of his four wives. They all live on his farm. He is in his late 70s, imagine and the wife is in her 30s. I mean how does that work really? When does a man get to the point where he needs to acknowledge it is time to be a grandpa and that his daddy days are over? As for the wife, at her age was it really all she could achieve to be a fourth wife? You must see her Diary, she is a cute little thing. There is no way you can tell me she could not find anyone younger. Mmmmmm, ndanyara. People do what they do for whatever reasons, who am I to speak? But aaah, I am perplexed.

SUNDAY
My hubby has been chatting to me about the retreat which he is enjoying thoroughly, I am so glad. As much as I said I was glad he was gone, I missed him that very night when I went into an empty bedroom. I ended up taking the baby into my bed kikiki. I told him that and he joked about his baby son already stealing his wife at such an early age kikiki. He sounded excited.
It looks like things are happening down there for them. I am looking forward to seeing the change.

MONDAY
My man is coming home tonight and I am so excited, you have no idea Diary. I even went shopping to find some sexy lingerie so I could remind him of what he missed, and I had my hair done and bought some new perfume. Oh yes, I am so ready for this man.

TUESDAY
Oh yes, it worked mmmmmmmmm, my man was on fire when he came last night and I made sure he will remember his welcome home for a long, long time. Unfortunately instead of us enjoying our company as a couple this morning, he was asked to assist with the funeral plans next door. As irritated as I was, I get it. These days things are hard and even with death people need assistance. So this is what we are doing, running around assisting the farmer next door and his four wives with the death of one of their children. May the little boy rest in peace.

WEDNESDAY
So sad, seeing this little boy being buried and the mother sobbing her heart out. I looked at all my kids, those from my womb and those handed to me by other mothers, they are all my kids and it would pain me immensely to lose any of them. Eish, ah no, it would tear me a part.

THURSDAY
My husband has decided to take our kids to kumusha tomorrow instead of today. He said he would rather wait to see if our neighbour still needs assistance. Fine with me!
