Diplomatic ties: Zimbabwe’s Ambassador presents credentials in Sri Lanka

ZIMBABWEAN resident Ambassador to India, Ms Stella Nkomo on Thursday presented her credentials in Sri Lanka following her appointment as a non-resident Ambassador to the Asian nation.

Ambassador Nkomo presented her credentials to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Disanayaka.

Posting on her social media platforms, Ambassador Nkomo expressed her gratitude toward President Mnangagwa for entrusting her with the responsibility.
“Today, I had the distinct honour of presenting my Credentials to HE President Anura Kumara Disanayaka as Zimbabwe’s Non-Resident Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Special thanks to my President, HE Cde Dr Emmerson D. Mnangagwa,” said Ms Nkomo.

Ambassador Nkomo, who is based in New Delhi, has been key in fostering collaboration in India in the areas of medicine, education and investments.

Last month she also presented her credentials in Bangladesh following her appointment as a non-resident Ambassador to the country.
