Disputes over goat leads to murder, suicide

A tragic incident unfolded in Muzarabani when a dispute over a goat allegedly led to a violent confrontation, resulting in one man losing his life and another taking his own.

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police, the incident occurred on 3 June 2025, at Mvundura Village, Kasekete Muzarabani where Gamuchirai Mvundura (21) allegedly attacked and killed Jestos Tsikire (51) following accusations of goat theft.

Mvundura then took his own life by hanging.
