Divine Appointments: Don’t take covenants for granted

THIS is October and there are many issues happening in the nation economically, issues connecting Zimbabwe to the dark world. Halloween, Stonehenge, Salisbury, the Rudd Concession and Zimbabwe’s spiritual and economic well-being are an intricate matrix. How can the strongholds of some of these covenants be broken considering that Halloween will be celebrated on October 31, and also bearing in mind that it is commemorated on the eve of the 127th year of the signing of the Rudd Concession, the fraudulent agreement that dispossessed Zimbabwe of its mineral resources? Tendai Manzvanzvike (TM) spoke with Apostle Andrew Kainga (AK) of Emmanuel Fellowship Ministry.

TM: Welcome Apostle. You are with Emmanuel Fellowship Ministry. Where is it?
AK: Our main branch is in Mbare, and the reason for being in Mbare is very simple. Mbare is the first suburb for black people and everything else was replicated from the suburb. Mbare was designed in such a way that there are so many dimensions to it. Initially, they started off with Matapi hostels, built very close to Mukuvisi River.
Matapi is a Shona term that means rats that live very close to the river. The reason why it was called Matapi is that this is all to do with rats. That is why theft is rife in Mbare, and this is the reason why even multiplication is on the increase. It was a curse that was pronounced in a very subtle way. Matapi was supposed to be a men’s hostel only. And then there were Matererini hostel for women. The model was a recipe for disaster. When the men came to Harare, marriages were distorted.
TM: And the significance of Mukuvisi River?
AK: That’s where you had all these rats (matapi). If you look at the way, say the UK was developed, the main tourist attractions, even Parliament or the castles is that they are very close to the Thames River because they draw their spiritual powers from the river.
Then you had the Beatrice Cottages that were for Italian prisoners. All this mix means that there was another community being developed. That’s the reason we had to go in Mbare.
If Mbare is sorted out spiritually, the whole of Zimbabwe will be sorted out because that is the call. It’s a strategic area, and Mbare as Mbare is the altar of Zimbabwe (chikuva cheZimbabwe). That is the reason why even if a national hero passes on, they have to go to the nation’s altar.
It is a dysfunctional yes, but once we have order in Mbare, then it can be replicated to other areas. As long as Mbare is out of order, we will all feel it. It’s Zimbabwe’s nerve centre.
TM: When did the ministry start?
AK: The ministry started in the 1970s, but the founders passed on and we had to carry on
TM: Are you a full time minister of the gospel?
AK: I’m not full time. I practice the tent meeting ministry, meaning that I work and also preach the gospel because I don’t want to put a burden on the people that they need to look after me. As I go to these people, I am not expecting something from them. I want to give them something – equip them.
TM: Let’s turn to the month of October. What is its significance?
AK: In October internationally, they observe Halloween day. That’s a day when demonic traffic is at its peak. And that’s the same period when the Rudd Concession was signed in 1888. King Lobengula was asked to append his signature on that document. That document was not just an agreement, but a covenant because if you look at the text, it says, the parties “covenanted”. Lobengula being the king was representing the Ndebeles, the Shonas and people from “adjoining territories in exercise of my sovereign powers.” On October 30 1888, Charles Dunnell Rudd of Kimberley, Rochfort Maguire of London and, Francis Robert Thompson of Kimberley asked him to sign the document in the witness of all demonic powers, since this was Halloween time, and there was a pagan festival at Stonehenge in the UK.
TM: Meaning what?
AK: What it means is that it was an evil covenant and if you look at that covenant, it has got its pros and cons: saying if you give us this, this is what is going to happen. King Lobengula was to be given 100 pounds every month, and in return of that, he was to give all the precious metals to the people who were there, their descendants, and their descendants’ descendants. And, nobody was to trade unless they had sanctioned it. That is according to the agreement.
Rudd and his partners were representing Kimberley. So, when we are talking about the Kimberley Processing Certification Scheme, they are saying “remember the covenant.” It’s not just a name but these people are from Kimberley, so you cannot trade on these metals unless you go back to the covenant.
TM: Zimbabwe has a majority Christian population that reads a lot about covenants and covenant making and breaking. Can this covenant be broken?
AK: The Bible says “my people perish for lack of knowledge.” We are seeing that this is an evil covenant, but we are not taking action. Until there is action, nothing can move. Until we take action to reverse and nullify it, it will still be holding.
TM: What sort of action is required?
AK: Prayer. Right now we are in October. It was done in October, and we know the people who entered into that covenant, the descendants are still there. Let’s call them forth as a nation. They entered into this covenant not because they designed to enter into it, but they were cheated into entering. However, ignorance cannot nullify things just because you were ignorant.
The effect will still be there. Until we break that, we will still be operating under a closed heaven.
We have Lobengula’s descendants. They should be invited and told that this is the problem that we have and there is need for repentance so that this thing is broken.
If you also look at the flip-side of the covenant, they had to be paid 100 British pounds every month.
TM: Is the money being paid?
AK: They are supposed to be paying £100 monthly, to Lobengula’s descendants, and it can only break if they are in arrears. But, it needs somebody to initiate that this thing is in arrears, so, this covenant has to stop. Are we together? The agreement was signed on of October 30 1888; what is the present value right now? From 1888 to date, how much was paid and how much are they owed? A lot! But we are still sending out our gold and platinum. We were given the £100, guns and a 1 000 rounds of ammunition.
October 30, the time this covenant was signed is approaching and is almost here. Are we choosing blessings or curses?
TM: What is the connection between the Rudd Concession, Stonehenge and Halloween?
AK: The connection is very strong. Stonehenge is in Salisbury, UK. The witches go to Stonehenge to celebrate at that time. Remember Harare was Salisbury. They wanted this nation because it is a strategic location, and it has got something, hence it is facing so many challenges.
TM: What if people say you are needlessly blaming the Ndebele people, it’s no longer relevant?
AK: I am not pointing fingers at the Ndebeles, but what I am saying is that they were cheated. These people wanted a point of contact, a person of authority – Lobengula because he was king. As king, his word had power, so they wanted the king’s word and they used it. Once words have gone out, you cannot gather them, and he was asked to put an X and that was good enough. When he realised that they had cheated him, he tried to break that, but they said no.
The agreement was designed in such a way that it was done in the presence of the king’s indunas, but they had a higher force, because at Stonehenge they celebrate a pagan festival, where they slaughter lots of pigs, and they will be doing it on the 30th of October, worshipping the sun god, and the sun at that time draws a straight line through those stones. And when it was through those stones, that’s when they asked King Lobengula to append his signature.
Here in Zimbabwe, the way they celebrate it, that’s the night when you have got all the fireworks in most of the affluent suburbs. It’s a fireworks night and it’s all to celebrate the demonic traffic.
TM: Final remarks
AK: People take covenants lightly. Covenants speak because every covenant is sealed with blood.
