GOSPEL musician Divine Tawedzegwa Zhou has collaborated with gospel diva Dorcas Moyo on a new song titled ‘Zvakwana.’
Zhou’s breakthrough came with his songs like ‘Pakutendeuka’, ‘Nyasha Dzerwendo’, and ‘Marecovery.’
He is currently working on a new album to be released in April.
“When I went to launch my album called ‘Marecovery Epakutendeuka’ in June 2023 at Radio Zimbabwe, the fans liked my music and they requested for the collaboration.
“Then DJ MaFYT connected me with Dorcas Moyo who said yes to the idea.
“If all goes well, by March the track should be out with Dorcas Moyo.
“Working with her has been an easy task as she is open and cooperative and I have learnt a lot through this partnership.”
Asked why the project took long given they first got in touch in 2023, Zhou said funds, and commitments to other projects, pegged them back.
Moyo has become a household name after releasing hit songs time and again.
She is not new to collaborations.
She has already partnered with big names like Alick Macheso and Mathias Mhere.
