RENOWNED DJ and entrepreneur DJ Zinhle has announced plans to record a song with Big Brother Mzansi: Umlilo season five winner Sweet Guluva.
Zinhle, who actively supported Sweet Guluva during his time on the show, said she met with his mother, who she attended school with, to discuss the potential collaboration.
“I spoke to Bongiwe Zwane, Sweet Guluva’s mother, who I went to school with, and I told her we intend to record a song and feature Sweet Guluva,” she said in a TikTok video.
“That plan is in motion. We’ll do whatever we need to do to help him succeed.”
She congratulated Sweet Guluva’s fan base for helping him win the competition.
“I don’t think I did anything amazing to contribute to the success, but I appreciate that you appreciate the little I did for Sweet Guluva.”
Real name Akhonamathemba Mbele is a 23-year-old multifaceted talent from Cape Town. He is a student, model, artist, football player and barber who has always aspired to break into the entertainment industry but was unsure how to pursue his dreams.
“I wanted to also grab the opportunity to act. I wanted to showcase my talent. I’ve wanted to get into entertainment but didn’t know where to start or who to go to,” he said.
“I’m very appreciative of everyone who voted. It is all sinking in that I am the winner. It was like judgment day. It was very emotional. I felt the love from the people in the room when on stage. Even if I did not win I was going to appreciate everything.”

Sweet Guluva walked out of the Big Brother house with R2m. DJ Tira took to social media to request Sweet Guluva’s appearance at his Afrotainment Marquee: “@SweetGuluva for Afrotainment Marquee Durban July?”
In a second post he said: “@SweetGuluva manager, please hit me up so we try to conclude this deal.”
A social media user said: “So my G will never get his moment alone. Brand builders, our job is going to be tougher than I thought.”
Another user said: “Yes please Malume, Sweet Guluva will definitely bring entertainment.”
