Interestingly, the event brings together some of the best club and underground DJs who specialise in different genres. There are young and old DJs who cater for all ages and if the truth be said, they should make an effort to make a recording of the occasion for posterity.
“People are already booking for the tickets because they want to know who is the best on the decks and at the same time we will be saying goodbye to summer, so will be having the last summer pool party,” said club spokesperson Kenneth Madangure.
“It is a good platform to share ideas and experiences. It is not a battle in the physical sense but a time to come together and try to entertain the same audience.
“The DJs come from different backgrounds and play at different radio stations as well as clubs in the city but when fans are brought into one place, it is more exciting.”
It is well known that most mature audiences prefer live shows to clubbing but there is a whole new crop of DJs that are changing this scenario. The DJs mix old skool music and new hits while their selection cuts across age differences. Their music would be mature but appeal across ages. Most of DJs have wide experience on the turntables and have played in numerous clubs in the city.
