THE nimble footed Warrior is up and about!

Warriors midfield dynamo Kudakwashe a?Nkembea? Mahachi will bounce back into action on 28 October amid revelations by the player that medical doctors at his club have cleared him to start playing at the end of next month.

The diminutive former Chicken Inn, Bantu Rovers and Highlanders midfielder, who is now on the books of South Africaas Absa Premiership side Golden Arrows,AA fractured his right arm during a Warriors training session at the end of last month when Kallisto Pasuwaas men were preparing for their last 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea that was played in Conakry.

a?I started doing light training on Monday. I have been doing some gym sessions concentrating on the lower part of my body. Part of the plaster has been removed and the other part will be removed on 11 October. Team doctors have already said that by 28 October I should be ready to do duty for my club against Maritzburg United in a league match,a? said Mahachi from his base in Durban.

However, Mahachi fondly known as Nkembe, will endure playing with a metal pin after he was successfully operated on after the fracture.

The 22-year-old Golden Arrows man came worse off an aerial tussle with Maritzburg United defender Blessing Moyo, with the former Chicken Inn ace landing awkwardly on his wrist during the senior teamas workout at Gateway High School.

The surgery, which will see the diminutive former Chicken Inn winger endure playing with a metal pin, was recently done in Durban, South Africa.

While he admits that the injury was a big setback for him, he has always said he looked forward to bouncing back stronger.

a?I think this was all in Godas plans. I will only miss five games before my comeback,a? said the Mzilikazi-bred footie who was a key figure in the history making Warriors squad that qualified for the Afcon 2017 finals in June with a game to spare.
