MOURNERS have gathered at the Gweru Provincial Heroes Acre today for the double burial of liberation war heroes Cde Abias Pelile and Cde Solomon Nhondova.
The solemn ceremony is being led by the Minister of State for Midlands Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Owen Ncube, who is accompanied by Gweru City Council Mayor, Councillor Martin Chivhoko, and other senior Government officials.
Cdes Pelile and Nhondova tragically lost their lives in a road traffic accident on 25 July.
Their deaths come just hours after the passing of another liberation stalwart, Cde Mundenguma, who was laid to rest at Destiny Memorial Park on Saturday.
