SOUTH African gospel powerhouses Dr Rebecca Malope and Sipho Makhabane are set to headline the much-anticipated “Grateful Zimbabwe Experience” scheduled for next month at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
The star-studded concert, hosted by celebrated Zimbabwean gospel artist Eleana Makombe, promises to be one of the biggest praise gatherings of the year.
The event’s impressive line-up features Minister Ellard and Sharon Cherayi, Takesure Zamar Ncube, Nyasha Mutonhori, Blessing Jedthun, and Worshipper Gunda, among other top local voices.
Known as the “Queen of Gospel” across Africa, Dr Malope’s inclusion is already stirring excitement among fans eager to witness her electrifying stage presence and timeless hits such as Ngiyamthanda uJesu and Uthando Lwami.
Meanwhile, Makhabane—affectionately known as The Big Fish—will bring his signature blend of deep worship and soulful praise that has inspired millions.
Eleana Makombe, the visionary behind the concert, continues to redefine the local gospel landscape. Through her creative leadership, she has successfully brought unity between Zimbabwean and regional gospel artists, turning her platforms into hubs of spiritual connection and collaboration.
“Eleana has changed the game,” said a local promoter. “Her shows are professionally run, spiritually uplifting, and restore dignity and order to the industry. She has brought back respect and sanity to gospel events.”
Beyond the music, the “Grateful Zimbabwe Experience” aims to celebrate gratitude, faith, and togetherness, uniting nations through worship. With regional heavyweights sharing one stage, the HICC is expected to be filled with powerful melodies, divine energy, and a message of thanksgiving that transcends borders.
