A dramatic incident unfolded at the popular Baku Restaurant in Bulawayo last Sunday evening after patrons discovered a male waiter, identified as Albert Sindiso Moyo, and another patron, known only as Michael, kissing in the bar’s toilet.

According to witnesses, the two were spotted in a compromising situation which quickly sparked a wave of surprise and gossip among other customers.

“I had noticed Albert and Michael acting suspiciously close for weeks now, always whispering and laughing together,” said one regular patron who asked to remain anonymous. “But seeing them like this, it was really shocking. It’s not something you expect at a public place like this.”

Another customer detailed how the discovery unfolded: “We were just waiting in line when someone noticed the door to the toilet slightly ajar. We peeked inside and saw them kissing. It created quite a stir immediately.”

Fellow patrons expressed mixed reactions, with some condemning the act while others called for discretion and respect for personal privacy. “Everyone comes here to relax and enjoy themselves. What they do in private shouldn’t be a matter for drama,” said one diner.

Staff at Baku Restaurant have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident. Meanwhile, the restaurant continues to operate as usual, though the episode has left a lasting impression on those present that evening.

More developments are expected as the story unfolds.
