DRIVER LOSES US$120K TRUCK TO THIEVES WHILE VISITING FAMILY

A RUWA man on Friday lost a haulage truck, worth US$120,000 to thieves in Ruwa.

He had parked the truck while visiting his family.

Frank Magadza, 46, of Glinnock Farm, Acturus, parked his white Sharkman horse, registration number AHA 1125, and trailer, registration AGK 9928, at Mavambo Business Centre.

Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case.

“Police are investigating theft of a motor vehicle in Ruwa.

“The truck was not loaded and was locked.

“On the same day, at about 2000 hours, complainant came back intending to move the truck to the garage along Mutare Road in Ruwa and found the truck and trailer missing but he had the truck keys with him,” said Insp Chakanza.
