Dube, who was elected Zifa president in March last year, received the recognition during the Caf general meeting in Cairo, Egypt.
Caf vice president Almamy Kabele Camara of Guinea will chair the committee that has Adam Mthetwa of Swaziland as the other official from Southern Africa along with Dube.
By getting into the organising committee, Dube joins the list of former Zifa bosses, Nelson Chirwa (late), Leo Mugabe, Wellington Nyatanga and Rafik Khan who have sat on the Caf committees.
The 13-men committee immediately reminded national associations that December 31 would be the deadline for entries for the finals to take place in Algeria in 2013.
During the same gathering, Caf also set up committees for the inter-clubs championships and the Under-17.
Long serving Caf president Issa Hayatou will chair the inter-club committees.
Caf also revealed the financial windfalls for the clubs that will take part in the competitions.
