DYNAMOS reached the Chibuku Super Cup final after defeating rivals Highlanders 5-3 on penalties at Rufaro today (Sunday).

The match had ended 1-1.

A quick free-kick by Vusa Ngwenya set up Emmanuel Jalai who unleashed a wonder strike in the 15th minute for Dynamos’ lead.

Bosso coach Peter Dejongh’s tactical adjustments at halftime changed the game.

Their persistence was rewarded in the 68th minute when Melikhaya Ncube met a precise Andrew Mbeba cross, hammering home the equaliser to level the scores.

And then they went into the penalties.

Under immense pressure, Dynamos held their nerve, converting all five spot-kicks to secure a 5-3 victory.

The win sets up a final clash against Triangle United, who earned their place by beating MWOS 2-0 at Ngoni Stadium on Saturday.

Dynamos:
Tampataion Chiwunga – scored
Emmanuel Jalai – scored
Felix Hammond – scored
Tellmore Pio – scored
Abel Gwatidzo – scored

Highlanders:
