DYNAMOS have withdrawn from the Bob 92 Zifa Super Cup where they were scheduled to meet Highlanders in the first leg at Barbourfields Stadiumtomorrow with Caps United taking their place.

Kenny Mubaiwa, the Dynamos chairman said they were not going to play until they were paid what they are owed for winning the Bob 91 Super Cup last year when they defeated Caps United 1-0 in the final played at Rufaro Stadium. Media reports after last year’s final had indicated that the Glamour Boys were suppose to get $40 000 and $20 000 was suppose to go the way of Caps United but Mubaiwa said they are owed $50 000.

“We were not paid so we want our money for the previous game and there is no way we can play another game for same competition without being paid our dues. We were suppose to get $50 000, we were in meetings with the organisers since Friday, even up to now we were in a meeting trying to resolve this, they are only promising. It is an important game in honour of our President, if they let us collect the gate takings, there is no way we can play then we can nothing, where does that money go to,’’ said Mubaiwa.
