East68 complete renovations

Showbiz Correspondent
POPULAR nightspot East68 in Bulawayo has completed renovations with its official opening pencilled for this Friday. The renovations, which have been taking place over the past three months, were meant to spruce up the place and give it a new feel for patrons. The spot has two seating areas, one inside and the other outside for those who want to relax and eat their braai meat in the open air.

E68 proprietor Dave Jacobs said they were still putting final touches to the nightspot. “The official opening is on Friday but maybe on Tuesday or Wednesday we will open to test the waters. We want our waiters and waitresses to get a feel of the place on a slow night before going full throttle,” said Jacobs.

He said they would be focusing more on mature clientele. “The place will have a relaxed atmosphere where people can come sit and enjoy their drinks. It’s ideal for those who’re mature who don’t want the hustle and bustle of some nightspots,” said Jacobs.

He said patrons would be surprised at what has been added to the nightspot.
