Eastern Region D1 club licencing workshop kicks off

THE Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League is today holding a club licencing workshop for secretaries and managers aimed at enhancing the participants’ key competencies and expertise in football administration.

The two-day seminar, which runs until tomorrow (Sunday) in Murambinda, is part of preparations for the upcoming 2026 season.

ZIFA Manicaland chairman Simba Wisdom said ZIFA competitions and projects manager Kudzai Chitima is the convenor and facilitating at the workshop.

“This is an important step towards improving the standards of football administration in the ZIFA Eastern Region. By the time the 2026 season kicks off, our club secretaries and managers would have benefited a lot and equipped to do better,” said Wisdom.

‎The Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League executive committee, among them vice chairman Gray Hama and several board members, including Rodgers Banda, Mollen Makumbe, Stefani Masina and administrator Fungai Munyoro-Chingaira, are in attendence.
