Victoria Falls is a hive of activity this weekend as fun lovers are being spoilt for choice both in sport and music.
The annual Econet Victoria Falls Marathon took place earlier today with over 3 000 participants participating. After the eventful marathon, people are now anticipating the ‘Big 3 music show’ pitting Ammara Brown, Winky D, and Jah Prayzah.
The Big 3 Music Show was initially slated for last night but was moved to today to allow runners to attend the party after their primary business on the track.
However, the party mood started on Friday with a welcome party at the View Lodge hosted by DJ Fatso and other local DJs. Taking advantage of the marathon, DJ Fatso, who is reveling on a huge response to the silent disco concert he introduced early this year, lined up a number of shows either side of the marathon to add fun to visitors.
Marathon participants usually sample a number of activities before and after the event and the silent disco was a hit with yesterday’s sunset cruise also playing popular.
As for the Big 3 Music Show, entry will be free with Djembe Monks, Enzo Ishall, Judgement Yard, Andrea the Vocalist and local DJs set to entertain people. – @ncubeleon
