EFF releases list of candidates for provincial legislature

CAPE TOWN. — The Economic Freedom Fighters released its list of candidates for provincial legislature and Parliament yesterday during a Press conference in Johannesburg.
The top 10 names on the list were: Julius Malema, who is the presidential candidate; Mpho Ramakatsa; Leigh-Ann Mathys; Floyd Shivambu; Hlengiwe Hlophe; Godrich Gardee; Magdelene Moonsamy; Mbuyiseni Ndlozi;Teboho Mokwele; and Andile Mngxitama.

Candidates for premiers were Themba Wele (Eastern Cape), Dali Mpofu (Gauteng), Mandisa Makhesini (Free State), Vusi Khoza (KZN), Mike Mathebe (Limpopo), Collen Sedibe (Mpumalanga), Alfred Motsi (North West); Aubrey Baartman (Northern Cape) and Nazier Paulsen (Western Cape).

During the press conference Malema said that they (the EFF) and the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) share “a common passion about land expropriation and will thus be cooperating with them”.

When asked about his recent utterance about Johann Rupert, Malema said they “don’t have time for Rupert: We want to take from him and give to the poor.” — Sapa.
