Electricity recharge system now up- ZETDC

Michelle Moyo, [email protected]

ZIMBABWE Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has said electricity is now payable in ZiG and US Dollars.

Consumers have been unable to buy electricity recharge tokens since Friday last week as the parastatal transitioned to the new currency.

“We are pleased to advise that we have successfully migrated to the ZiG currency.

“Customers can now transact in ZiG and USD from ZETDC banking halls and online platforms.

“We thank you for your patience and understanding during the transition period,” reads a notice from the power utility.
