A 24-YEAR-OLD man from Bulawayo is lucky to be alive after he was electrocuted while trying to relieve himself in a disused part of the sugar refinery along Khami Road in Bulawayo.

The Bulawayo Fire Brigade has confirmed the incident that happened on Monday morning at the refinery just opposite Glow Petroleum. Dylan Ndlovu from Sizinda in Bulawayo got inside the derelict sugar refinery to relieve himself.

Workers at the Petroleum were alerted to a disturbing spectacle of a screaming naked man running around in pain. An ambulance was subsequently called and he was rushed to hospital.
