It’s clear that Elle Fanning is dedicated to her work. And when a job calls for expertise on a skateboard, the teen is not one to recruit a body dole, as the picture on the right shows. Instead the 16-year-old appeared to have been taking lessons, expertly leaping onto her board as she filmed the upcoming dramatic comedy “Three Generations” in New York re- cently.
Elle has previously been seen skateboarding on the set of the film, where she has dramatically transformed her look to portray Ray, a transgendered teen transitioning from female to male. Shaving off her blonde hair and dying her new crop red, the teen looks nothing like herself.
Elle donned her character’s trademark olive green coat for the occasion, and layered up with a blue flannel shirt and dark navy shirt. She teamed the look with a pair of yellow shoes, and a forest green backpack.
Elle’s on-screen mother Maggie is portrayed by Naomi Watts, and the 46-year-old sported two different looks as she braved the Big Apple chill. She at one point wore a well-worn cream coat, which was then shed to reveal a pink sweater.
Naomi appeared to be filming a rather humorous scene, as she cast a rather uncomfortable gaze while tossing a box of tea into the trash.
The Gaby Dellal-directed movie “Three Generations” also stars Susan Sarandon, who portrays Ray’s grandmother. — Dailymail.
