VICTORIA Falls-based content creator Elsie Kay was recently featured as part of the cast in an American reality television series titled ‘Baddies.’
The 24-year-old said it was a dream come true.’Baddies’ is an American reality television series that features popular influential females.
The show documents the interactions among several young women living together while hosting a series of promotional events, which often involve verbal and physical altercations.
Many ‘Baddies’ cast members previously featured on ‘Bad Girls Club.’
They include executive producer Natalie Nunn.
In an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Elsie said this is an opportunity for her to represent her country and promote her career.
“Now that it has been released and Zeus Network actually posted it, l can officially talk about my experience.
“I saw the advert and l told myself this is one platform that will help me grow as an individual.
“Girls from different countries were participating. Some of them looked really interesting. Either way, it was a ball. It was very funny and l honestly enjoyed my experience there, the bonus was being chosen.
“I knew l had it in me, some of the girls were really pretty.
“Seeing Natalie Nunn in person for the first time was the best feeling, everyone was so excited to see her. Personally this was an opportunity for my brand and my business.”
She added:
“So, yeah, it was an experience for sure, I’m not complaining because the l got cast.
“The girl got cast.
“We met in South Africa. I’m not complaining about anything yet. We all had fun like, to be honest, the girls, we all like entertained each other in a way.
“Some girls were dancing. Girls were having fun. We were all getting to know each other.”
Elsie said they went to a boot camp where they were formally introduced to each other.
“We then went for ‘Baddies’ boot camp because like we were all stuck there so we kind of had to get to know each other.
“I enjoyed that the most, yeah, you’ll see obviously in the episodes. They were fights and make-ups but l can’t say much about that as you will have to see it for yourselves.
“I can’t wait for the world to know what l have in store for them.”
‘Baddies’ has aired for six seasons, which are uniquely named after where they were filmed.’Baddies’ was developed after an idea from the ex-members of ‘Bad Girls Club.’
