LAST week, we discussed how the mind of Christ opens up a world of possibilities.
This week, we are diving into the aspect of multiplication, a powerful concept demonstrated in Matthew 14:15-17.
In this biblical account, Jesus was faced with a significant challenge: feeding a massive crowd in an isolated place with only five loaves of bread and two fish.
His disciples saw the problem through the lens of human limitation, saying: “Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”
But Jesus responded with a mindset of abundance: “They do not need to go. You give them something to eat.”
This miracle of feeding 5 000 people reveals the mind of Christ, a mindset not confined by scarcity or impossibility.
As believers, we are told in 1 Corinthians 2:16 that we have the mind of Christ.
This means we can approach challenges with faith, trusting in God’s provision rather than relying solely on our limited human resources.
The key to this multiplication was the disciples’ obedience. They brought their limited resources to Jesus and He multiplied them beyond all expectation. Similarly, we must surrender our limitations to God and trust in His unlimited provision.
The mind of Christ is one of multiplication.
It is one that allows us to think beyond human constraints and embrace possibilities.
In times of scarcity, we are urged to trust God’s ability to multiply our resources.
Bring your limitations to God and trust Him to work miracles.
Let this mindset guide you. Approach challenges with faith, expecting God to do the impossible.
As we continue to explore the mind of Christ, let us embrace this principle of multiplication, trusting in God’s abundance and provision to unlock new possibilities in our lives.
