Employer swindled

Court Reporter
A Harare man allegedly swindled his employer of US$30 000 meant to pay electricity bills before misrepresenting that the money had been stolen when he allegedly collapsed on his way to make the payment.
Raymond Chinouya (26) is now being jointly charged with his workmate at SINO Zimbabwe Development Group, Alex Maramba (23), who is said to have tried to cover-up. Chinouya and Maramba yesterday appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Milton Serima facing charges of fraud.

They were remanded to October 1 on US$100 bail each.
Mr Serima ordered the pair not to interfere with witnesses and to reside at their given addresses until the finalisation of the matter.
