Endurance has been key to our success

ENDURANCE!

Perhaps this is one key attribute of Zimbabweans.

Our people have endured a lot as a result of those who throw obstacles in our path towards economic determination.

Endurance has always been synonymous with Zimbabweans.

The new Beitbridge border post. The good deeds of President Mnangagwa’s ZANU PF-led Government are there for all to see.

We endured 16 years of armed struggle and emerged victorious. We have also endured so much more ever since.

However, ultimately, we always triumph. We are resourceful people, who always find their way, even in the darkest of times. For more than 20 years, we have overcome hardships in the face of adversity. Our detractors wanted to reverse the gains of our liberation struggle, but this has come to naught, thanks to our people’s resilience. Rather, our people have been able to drive the nation forward. We have achieved a lot, and more success lies ahead. The country’s leadership has also endured in the face of constant abuse and illegal sanctions.

If we were not made of sterner stuff, our nation would have either collapsed or capitulated. But Zimbabweans have notable strength of character and are not easily shaken.  The torture we have endured under the weight of sanctions has made us adapt and chart a path forward. We have turned a negative scenario into a positive one, one that is full of promise.

The sun is now shining on us.

Zimbabwe, under the ZANU PF-led Government, is now quite the marvel.

Our colossal party is one of the few remaining people’s movements, which is why it has endured the test of time. As the opposition continues to sink into oblivion, the ZANU PF-led Government will not rest on its laurels. We are now more than ever pressing ahead with our developmental programmes aimed at ushering our people into a new era of prosperity.

We will not slow down our momentum; it is all hands on deck and full steam ahead.  By 2030, we should have met our target of making Zimbabwe an upper middle-income economy. Our people will enjoy the fruits of their commitment to ZANU PF through improved livelihoods.

The developments taking place around the country are a fitting answer for the doubting Thomases.

The good deeds of President Mnangagwa’s ZANU PF-led Government are there for all to see.

Be that as it may, the strides we are making will benefit all — the cynics and believers. One day, Zimbabweans will in hindsight appreciate all these great works that have uplifted our beloved nation.

What seemed like an impossible task has now been achieved.  Our country is back on track once more. Even the usual noisemakers have run out of steam. They have also run out of fake stories to sell to their handlers.

There is nothing that beats the feeling of seeing and experiencing one’s nation prosper.  As Zimbabwe forges ahead, let it be known that my party will not leave any one or any place behind, as is insisted by our great leader, His Excellency, President Mnangagwa, who has transformed Zimbabwe’s fortunes for the better within a short time.

We, as Zimbabweans, can dare to dream again. We look forward to the future with anticipation and hope.

Overall, our people should be commended for their resilience in the face of difficulties.
