NetOne chief executive officer, Engineer Raphael Mushanawani was last night inducted into the 2026 Business Hall of Fame, in recognition of his leadership and contribution to Zimbabwe’s telecommunications sector.
Eng Mushanawani is also a member of the Zimpapers board.
The awards ceremony, hosted by The Champions Africa, celebrated outstanding business leaders across both corporate and small-to-medium enterprises, showing excellence in management, innovation and organisational growth.
Speaking at the induction ceremony, Eng Mushanawani dedicated the accolade to his team at NetOne, crediting their collective effort and commitment to performance.

“It would not have been possible were it not for the team that I work with. It is a diversified team, but what keeps us together is the spirit of success. I’m grateful for the support that they have given to me,” said Eng Mushanawani.
The Business Hall of Fame Class of 2026 also included prominent executives from across Zimbabwe’s corporate landscape, including Dr Shepherd Fungura of ZB Holdings, Dr Dexter Savadye of the National Biotechnology Authority of Zimbabwe, and Mr Justin Machibaya of Homelux Group.
Other inductees include Mr Glen Peters of KDV Bedding, Mr Wilfred Matukeni of National Oil Infrastructure Company (NOIC), Mr Moses Kurenjekwa of Ecobank Zimbabwe, and Mr Luxon Zembe of CBZ Holdings.
Emerging business leaders were also recognised under the Young Champions Awards category.
Honourees included Zimbabwe Building Contractors Association (ZBCA) president Mr Tinashe Manzungu, Mr Aaron Kumanja of Realtor Ville Group, and Ms Nennice Chinhara of Glow Petroleum.
