English Championship club Rotherham has reportedly become the latest side to angle for the signature of Zimbabwean forward Admiral Muskwe.

After playing second fiddle in Luton Town colours in the past season, Muskwe was transfer listed after the club that provides home to Warriors midfield enforcer Marvelous Nakamba won promotion into the English Premier League via the Championship play-offs.

Muskwe (24) had little game time at Luton after he joined the outfit after spending the first half of the term on loan at Fleetwood.

His stay at Luton was dogged by injuries and was eventually ruled out for the greater part of last season .

An English publication, The Evening Standard reported that the English Premier Soccer League (EPL) newbies are contemplating on parting ways with dread-locked Muskwe either on loan or permanent transfer and Rotherham are interested in the striker’s services.

The former Leicester City player is entering the final year of his contract at Luton, which has an additional optional year that the club do not plan to trigger.

Another English Championship side that has developed a soft spot for Muskwe’s services in this window is Baside Barnsley.

Muskwe was part of the Warriors squad that took part in 2021 Afcon finals that were held in Cameroon under the guidance of Norman Mapeza, Mandla “Lulu” Mpofu with Energy “Gokwe” Murambadoro being the goalkeepers coach.
