The Magwegwe-bred former Warriors captain said he has a number of offers at his disposal to coach abroad.

McCarthy is one of the assistants at Manchester United FC.

According to an online publication NewZim.com Mwaruwari revealed last week that he has a number of interviews lined up in England where he played for Portsmouth and Manchester City.

“When you see one of our great players in Africa doing well, it inspires all of us and you want to be in that group as well,” Mwaruwari was quoted as saying after watching SuperSport United’s Diski Challenge team take on Bristol City’s Under-21 side in their tour of the UK last week.

Mwaruwari played for Lulu Rovers, University of Zimbabwe, Air Zimbabwe and Jomo Cosmos before playing in France and Switzerland before his big break to the English Premiership.

The Undertaker as he is affectionately known is working on getting an Uefa Pro Licence coaching badge that would make him marketable all over the world.

He holds an Uefa A badge.

Mwaruwari had a brief stint with Ngezi Platinum last year.

Efforts to get a comment from Mwaruwari last night were not successful.
