ERLING HAALAND stole the show after Manchester City’s title showdown with Arsenal — giving a hilarious side-eye to the camera before singing directly into the lens.
The striker scored the game’s crucial goal in what could be the defining moment of this season’s Premier League.
He bagged just after the hour mark, converting in the box following a neat team move, and City held out from there. Just.
At full-time the City bench celebrated by hugging each other and jumping up and down as they moved to within three points of Arsenal, still holding a game in hand — and now all of the momentum.
On the field, Haaland — who had been involved in a battle with old rival Gabriel — was picked out by the TV camera and it created a video for the ages.
As he walked across the pitch, Haaland noticed the camera and gave it a firm side-eye, smiling as he went. After staring straight ahead for a second, he then started to sing.
Turning towards the camera, he shouted: “Oh, oh, sometimes, I get a good feeling!”
Belting out the lyrics to Flo Rida’s popular 2011 hit ‘Good Feeling’, he embraced team-mate Phil Foden.
Haaland then walked towards the City fans, pointing to his ears and asking them to chant louder.
They were singing “City, tearing cockneys apart, again” to the tune of Joy Division’s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’. With the vibes high, Haaland took full advantage of his chance in the spotlight again.
And football fans absolutely loved it, with even Southampton’s admin getting involved.
They responded to a screenshot of the Haaland glance, saying “Seen that look before” with a pic of Shea Charles after they beat Arsenal in the FA Cup.
Other online supporters couldn’t get over Haaland either. One wrote on X: “Haaland at full-time singing ‘oooh sometimes I get a good feeling’ is absolutely sending me, man. Hahahaa. What a troll.”
Another said: “The look that Haaland just gave to the camera is sensational”.
A third commented: “that smirk was him thinking whether he should sing it or not”.
While one added; “The s***housery from Haaland is top tier”.
In his post-match interview, Haaland was caught swearing on Sky Sports but didn’t apolgise for his X-rated language.
He joked: “Oh come on, we are always swearing in our lives.”
He was involved in a running battle with old rival Gabriel during the match, first seeing his shirt ripped off by the Arsenal defender before they squared up.
Gabriel pushed his head at Haaland but was not shown a red card as the Premier League deemed the action was “not excessively violent or aggressive”.
Haaland said he did the defender a favour by not going to ground.
“I think if I fell on the floor, which I will not do unless someone really attacks me, it will maybe be a red card,” the Norwegian said.
“I’m not sure. But it is what it is, I will not fall on the floor.
“Yellow card for me, I’m not sure why, he comes up to my face. But it is what it is.”
Former Premier League referee Mark Halsey agreed with the on-field decision, but also told SunSprot he agreed with Haaland’s assessment that not falling over made the decision an easier one.
It is now 23 Prem goals this season for City’s No9 as he ended a four-game run without scoring in the league. He also got one at the Emirates in the reverse fixture against Arsenal.
Haaland is up to 34 in all competitions, but few in his career could be as big as this.
The result leaves the title in City’s hands as they enter the final five matches on a roll.
