In some circles the term New World Order is understood to be a code of a secret society of global elites that intend to create one world under their economic and political tyranny, an agenda for world domination.
It is for that reason that eyebrows were raised when US President Joe Biden invoked the term in a speech not so many days ago. Addressing a gathering of business leaders at the White House that were keen to understand the developments in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, President Biden repeated the suggestion that the conflict is a world-changing event, and proceeded to drop the bomb that: “ There is going to be a New World Order out there and we have to lead it, and we have got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it.”
The “we have to lead it” part from Biden should be interesting the worrying sense of the word interest.
Intended or not, Biden’s declaration sounded like a public incantation of a vow that is quoted from a manifesto of a determined secrete society that really intends to put the world under its armpits in perpetuity.
Many journalists called it a guff, that is a clumsy slip in the President’s speech that was not pre-meditated and should be quickly forgotten as nothing more than just that, a slip of the tongue.
I truly believe that there is more to the slip of the presidential tongue that should not slip from our observation if we intend to fully understand the present order or disorder of things in the world.
The speeches of powerful presidents in times of war and darkness become not only the ‘first scripts of history’ but also the primary texts from which we can decipher the true meaning of world events.
The more White House spokespersons insist that the President did not mean what we think the more we should test if it is indeed not what we think and fear, a slogan about an agenda for world domination and control that America intends to ‘lead it.’
Such leading political analysts and commentators of the world as Noam Chomsky and John Pilger have severally warned about ‘New World Order’ intentions and ‘hidden agendas’ in the Euro-American led world system that is on trial in the present, that is facing tough tests of its truths and strengths.
A few days later, on 27 March 2022 specifically, addressing an audience in Warsaw, Poland, President Biden strongly suggested that there should be regime change in Russia with President Vladimir Putin out of power: “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”
A number of influential American political commentators ventilated their condemnation of Biden’s announcement.
Once again, the engine rooms of American spokespersonship got into full gear calling it a ‘guff’ on the one hand and declaring that regime change is not what the President meant on the other hand.
In Moscow Biden’s message, guff or gift, was received as a statement of what was always known that America and the NATO alliance do not only wish but actually intend that Russia should have another leader besides Putin.
That desired leader should be a softy and a willing ally of the West that would help NATO envelope the last citadel of Eastern Europe and bury forever the memory of the Soviet Union.
A New World Order that is without the meaning of Russia and the memory of the Soviet Union is the itching and burning desire of some in the west.
In their own time Woodrow Wilson in America and Winston Churchill in England voiced their desires of a New World Order that was described in benign terms as the globalisation of peace, human rights, democracy and human happiness.
Nations would retain their self-determination but benefit from a global order that helps them solve those problems and access resources that they could not as individual nations, under this New World Order.
In September 1990, celebrating the increasing decline of the Soviet Union George H. W. Bush presented a speech titled: “Towards a New World Order,” before the US Congress preaching the political gospel of one world under the leadership of America and the West.
It was an end of history speech that saw the future of the world only in American and Western terms and no other terms.
That world where other powers wish other powers did not exist is actually the New World Disorder.
Critically, one can observe that the League of Nations of 1920 and the United Nations of 1945 were, in veracity, created to consolidate the Euro-American idea of a New World Order, not to secure the peace, security and prosperity of the world comity of nations.
