Former Cotton Company of Zimbabwe former chief executive Pious Manamike has won his appeal to nullify an assets seizure order while his fraud case is being prosecuted.
Manamike lost his High Court bid to reverse the State’s temporary seizure of his vehicles. However, on appeal the Supreme Court ruled in his favour.

The vehicles were seized last year to ensure that Manamike could not sell them until the finalisation of his criminal case.

Advocate Tafadzwa Mapuranga, instructed by Mr Tinofara Hove, argued the appeal case for Manamike.
