“’Zororo’ is about slowing down, finding your calm and remembering who you are, even when life gets loud.”Skiezy said the song was for anyone who has been through some trials and tribulations and is crying out for a breakthrough.

Skiezy has made a name for himself with his lyrical depth and genre-bending style.

This rising digital presence has sparked regional interest and shows larger international potential as Afro-fusion gains appeal. He revealed he wrote ‘Zororo’ after a period of intense reflection.

“This is not just a song for me. It’s a reflection,” he said.

“There was a point when I felt overwhelmed by everything: expectations, life and even my own misgivings. I had to disengage and reconnect with myself and ‘Zororo’ was born from that silence,” he said.Musically, ‘Zororo’ combines calm Afro soul and alternative R&B with Zimbabwean rhythms and instruments.

Finger plucked guitar notes give way to a warm percussion and delicate voice passages, creating a comfortable yet meaningful atmosphere.

Throughout, there is a haunting beauty based in Afro music.

In a setting where many local musicians blend ancient forms with current ones, Skiezy appears to be part of a new crop of young creators reshaping traditional music in subtle ways.

“Sometimes peace doesn’t come from outside. It starts with a wise decision. You are allowed to rest.

“That’s how I want people to feel when they hear this song – a permission to pause.

“’Zororo’ is a soulful call for peace in a hectic world. It is a flawless genre with a strong emotional impact, a track you can feel in your bones.

“’Zororo’ is a single that holds and shares a message of peace in the mind regardless of the stuggles one is going through” he said.

He has worked on other singles like ‘Ndinewe’ with Zeb Taikira and Shonaboi.
