A family from Maphisa in Kezi is appealing to members of the public for assistance in locating 43-year-old Like Ncube, who mysteriously disappeared early this month after being last seen in Harare where he worked in VIP protection.
According to the family, Ncube was last seen at his workplace on April 7 and has not been heard from since then, raising fears for his safety.

His wife, Dumazile Moyo, said the family has been living in distress since his disappearance as all efforts to contact him or trace his whereabouts have yielded nothing.
“We are deeply worried because this is not like him at all. He would always communicate with family even when he was busy with work. Since April 7, his phone has not been reachable and no one seems to know where he is,” she said.
Ms Moyo revealed that before his sudden disappearance, her husband had expressed fears about his safety.
“He had confided in me that lately he no longer felt safe at work. He told me that he would constantly notice vehicles without number plates following him. At first we thought maybe he was just being overly cautious because of the nature of his job, but now we are very worried,” she said.
She appealed to anyone who may have information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the family.
Ncube’s father, Nozethi Ncube, said the family in Maphisa has been devastated by the disappearance.
“As a family we are in pain and we are appealing to the public to help us find our son. We just want to know where he is and whether he is safe. If anyone has seen him or has any information, they must assist us,” he said.
The family said a missing person report has since been filed with the police and investigations are underway.
Anyone with information that may assist in locating Like Ncube is being urged to contact the nearest police station or his wife on +263 71 776 4691
