ALL roads will lead to Weirmouth Botanical Gardens in Mutare tomorrow (Saturday) for a family fun day that is expected to delight both children and adults.

The event promises to be an unforgettable experience from thrilling games, rides, delicious food and refreshing drinks.

Children can look forward to jumping castles, face-painting, and quadbikes, among other activities.

There will also be pool tables and darts for adults.

To add icing on the cake, gospel musician, Irene Mutangadura and the Hearbeat Crew, will provide live entertainment to serenade attendees.

The event will cost US$2 for adults and US$1 for children.

Mutangadura, who is one of the organisers, said everything is now in order and ready to deliver a flawless event.

“It is all systems to go on Saturday at Weirmouth Botanical Gardens in Mutare where we will host a Family Fun Day. We have lined up a lot of activities for both children and adults — from horse ridings, water slides, jumping castles, quadbikes, pool tables, darts and trampoline. Children will also have an opportunity to have their faces painted. We are starting at 9am.

“Our aim is to bring families together in a relaxed and friendly environment. We are doing this in preparation for the Easter holiday, which is now around the corner, and schools are about to break for the April holiday.

“This is an event to lighten up families, bring together people from different walks of life. We want children to meet new friends and learn good things from them.

“There will be live music performance by myself and the Heartbeat Crew. The stage will be on fire as we are well prepared for this big and special day. We are raring to go for the big day. All the prices for food and drinks will be very cheap. This is not an event to miss for families,” said Mutangadura.
