Fatal accident along Harare-Mutare highway

An unconfirmed number of people are feared dead after their vehicle collided headon with a haulage truck near Surrey shopping centre along the Harare-Mutare highway this afternoon.

When The Herald arrived at the scene, several people from the vehicle were lying on the side of the road after being rescued.

Both vehicles were still at the scene, and the police had not yet arrived.

Some of the injured could be heard crying from pain.
