Father beats, injures two-months-old baby

A CHIPINGE man has been arrested after brutally spanking his two-months-old child with a belt.
Acting Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed the incident.
The man, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, stays in a village near Checheche Growth Point.
The baby sustained serious injuries, and was taken to St Peter’s Hospital for treatment.
