FC Platinum’s Under-19 player, Perfector Shoko, died on Friday morning, allegedly after consuming poison.

He was 17.

Club spokesperson Chido Chizondo confirmed the tragic event that has befallen the club but declined to reveal the cause of death.

“Yes, it is true, we have lost our Under-19 player, Perfector. That is all we can say for now,” said Chizondo.

It is believed that the player drank poison on Thursday and upon discovery, he was rushed to the hospital but succumbed on Friday morning.
