AFRO-FUSION singer Feli Nandi is due to perform at the Moto Moto Music Festival in Köln, Germany, on July 20 as part of an effort to promote international connections and collaborations between artistes.
Her manager, Connie Mazani, said that this will be Nandi’s first performance in Germany and an opportunity to showcase traditional Zimbabwean sounds set to a contemporary beat. Mazani said that Feli would be showcasing instruments such as the mbira, congas and hosho.
The festival is a one-day event that highlights the rich tapestry of Zimbabwean art, music and culture.
It promotes international connections and collaborations, offering concert goers an immersive experience with traditional drumming, dance performances, contemporary art exhibitions and soul-stirring music. These elements combine to ignite the senses and captivate the spirit.
The festival line-up continues to grow, with further announcements expected on other artistes who will join Feli in representing Zimbabwean artistry internationally.
Feli is due to follow up her performance in Germany with another international tour date at the ZimFest Live festival in the United Kingdom the following week.

“Travelling to this European country is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we’re grateful for the chance to share Zimbabwean music and culture,” Mazani said.
“Every artiste dreams of being an ambassador for their homeland, and this tour will expand our reach, enhance our impact and broaden our audience.
“We aim to take up space and also learn from other cultures on this tour. Interacting with other musicians will enhance the knowledge we already possess,” she said.
Locally, Feli has been touring with the Doek and Slay team, which has significantly expanded her fan base. She has delivered vibrant performances in Harare, Bulawayo, Masvingo and Mutare, wearing unique outfits that have captivated revellers.
“We’ve had an amazing experience at the Doek and Slay events, and they’ve helped us reach a wider audience with their massive following. It’s been a great opportunity to perform in cities beyond Harare, and we plan to return to these towns for solo tours soon,” Mazani said.
Turning to her career development, Feli, who recently released visuals for “Muti Watemwa”, plans to drop more singles before July.
Her music blends traditional Zimbabwean sounds with soulful tunes and is celebrated for its captivating storytelling and dynamic performances.
