FELI Nandi will join the rest of the continent in celebrating the Africa Day holiday in song and dance.
She is set to hold a family show at King Solomon Hotel in Kwekwe, today. Before the Kwekwe show, she warmed up the stage at Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton on Friday evening.
In an interview with H-Metro, she said she chose Kwekwe for the main celebrations as many people from the city appreciate her African print outfits.
“Kwekwe is so dear to my heart as we grow with our work. I have realised that the city is very welcoming. I always receive so much love from the people around me that it’s now home to me. I chose Africa Day to go to Kwekwe because there are many women who support our African print outfits. It’s one of those cities, where on a normal day, I can get a call from clients asking for a delivery of say 20 outfits,” she said.
Her music celebrates themes of love and resilience, which has left an indelible mark on audiences. She is set to perform for the first time in Germany in July. She will perform at the Moto Moto Music Festival in Köln, Germany, on July 20, to promote international connections.(H-Metro)
