FELI PROMISES TO WORK HARDER

FELI Nandi has shown her professionalism by accepting her fate after she was not included among the list of nominees for the 23rd edition of the National Art Merit Awards (NAMA).

Instead of criticising the decision to ignore all her submissions for the awards, the songstress has decided to just accept her fate.

Her management confirmed that the team submitted their work for the NAMA awards set for March 1.

The nominees were released last week and Feli was not among the nominees.

In an interview with H-Metro, Feli’s manager, Connie Mazani said:

“I guess they felt she didn’t deserve it. We will work harder next year,” she said.

The decision to ignore the work done by Chipaz Promotions who staged some big shows last year has also created a bit of controversy.

Feli Nandi is set to release her second studio album “Ndisiyei” on March 22 at 7 Arts Theatre.

The album carries eight tracks and there are some surprise collaborations.

“The album has eight tracks and the collaborations will be a surprise. The album is done. It’s the second album.

“Most of the songs narrate true events.

“So, we can say the theme is about real life experiences, touching on death and suicide.

“On this album, there is some experimentation with some new sounds, which is another surprise,” said Mazani.
