A TOTAL of 643 students graduated at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University’s 10th graduation ceremony, which also marked the institution’s 14th anniversary since its establishment in April 2012.
Since 2015, the university has cumulatively produced 3,353 graduates in fields including law, development studies, business, social work and management.

This year’s ceremony saw 643 graduates receive degrees and diplomas, comprising 438 females and 205 males.
Of the graduates, 565 earned honours degrees, nine postgraduate diplomas and 50 diplomas, while others graduated with master’s degrees.
Female graduates accounted for 68.12 percent of the class, reflecting increasing participation of women in higher education.

University Vice-Chancellor Professor Innocent Chirisa also commented on the graduation of several pastors, emphasising that modern religious leadership now requires a grasp of both scripture and current global trends.
