According to well-placed Siya sources, only three members of the technical team are believed to have been paid for the said matches we saw Bafana Bafana qualify for the continental showdown.
Another source confirmed to the crew that a number of others are still waiting and the response from SAFA on the matter has been, ‘we will see’ as to when payment will be made.
In addition, the Bafana Bafana players held a first camp recently and the Siya crew has been informed that certain members of the technical team were not called up due to budget constraints.

According to insiders, the players aired their grievances in a heated meeting with SAFA’s Chief Financial Officer Gronie Hluyo over unpaid monies, which took place on Tuesday 06 June 2023, with the outcome of the meeting is unknown.
The Siya crew reached out to SAFA Spokesperson Mninawa Ntloko, although he answered calls made by the crew, there was no response from the Federation at the time of publishing. — Soccer Laduma.
